Flipkart — Denying 10,999 refund for empty package | |
On 21st January, 2020, received damaged and used product. It also had accessories missing and immediately opted for replacement product. On 27th January, 2020, received another product. This time being careful and recorded video of the opening box. (video : https://youtu.be/T3ppqgbHQ6Y). The entire box of the product was empty. The box's original seal was broken and had cellotape on it. After opening product, called the delivery agent, who was just leaving. He called his superior and said to ask for refund via flipkart customer service. After contacting the customer support, during next several days they asked for my PAN card for verification and to lodge an FIR. I gave my consent to the FIR investigation. Ravikiran Mogale(Security Manangement, Flipkart) asked me to send him photos of product and assured me that they will take action against seller and issue refund to me. But next day they rejected my refund and I went to the courier office twice as the only contact having with flipkart. The courier office supervisors have mailed flipkart about the issue but flipkart is not contacting me nor issuing any refund. I have since been contacting flipkart on email, via the courier service, customer phone support. They have not given me refund giving the one fake reason several times. They are saying that I have "HIGH" number of returns. But in reality I have just one return in my order history that too in 2018. I have ordered many times after that only one return and accepted all orders without any problems. in 2017 I have ordered expensive monitor, mouse worth near 13500. Never had a problem then. Even their customer support checked the account and saw that I just have one return and Flipkart was in wrong. But after every call the next day I get same email saying they can't refund because I have HIGH number of returns.
