[Resolved] Flipkart — exchange offer of laptop lenovo ideapad 130 | |||
Hi ; on 13th of oct i have ordered for exchange of my laptop lenovo w520 with new lenovo idea pad 130 as per the deal of that day. I have paid the amount as required for the purchase. The info was provided that they will ship the same by saturday. But the same was bought for delivery with the courier agent on 18th oct. The courier agent who came for delivery was suppose to check the details of to be exchanged laptop as per the details i have provided at the time of purchase. But the guy while checking could not find any problem, but he started lifting the mouse section and keyboard section to show that there is some problem but i insisted not to touch the same, after which he pointed to a small corner nick and started telling it is damaged. He took his phone took the photo and tells that exchange value will be reduced by rs.6500 and if i pay immediately he will deliver and when i insisted that i will call customer care he told they will not respond and left the scene. I called the customer care executive they are very bad in understanding the problem, instead they kept on pulling the stories. I wanted to talk to floor manager they say no one is available, after insistence some one pretend to be floor manager but couldn't understand the matter. Finally they cancelled the order by themselves. I received a notification stating that the seller has cancelled the order. Upon my insistence and escalating the same they send another notification with excuse reasons and rs.500 voucher will be credited instead of the order. For me the seller is flipkart who took the money into their account but didn't deliver the items, cancelled the order on their own, sending communication the their seller will return the amount. What a play this flipkart plays their charge from us keep the money for ten days or more to make their balance sheet better and get more funding. This act of negligence to customer agreement is illegal and need to be arrested immediately. The photo of the laptop is attached herewith, if the purpose of exchange is to change the old item with wear and tear but their expectation is it should be new or i feel there is some ploy with the delivery and agencies selling the products. The such sellers should be blacklisted first or flipkart should be made to give the compensation in lieu since we buy the items on flipkart affiliation and values. Was this information helpful? | |||
