On September 10, 2020, I placed an order for an Apple AirPods Pro through Flipkart.com and it was delivered on September 12, 2020. I had also ordered an Apple iPhone XR before. Both these products were ordered for my wife as a gift for her birthday. Shockingly, the AirPods Pro was not an authentic Apple product but some sorts of local and cheaply made fake AirPods, however, they were nicely packed in an Apple AirPods Pro hardcover (please see attachments). Ever since, I contacted Flipkart several times via online messaging available on their website and reported this issue with the photos(see attachments) as proof. In return, from September 18, 2020 with all the cosmetic apology e-mails, they kept on giving me assurance via online reply messages that Flipkart had taken notice of my issue and the matter will be resolved soon. Please see their message below:
"We will contact you within 72 hrs to clarify your request. Please note your request will be accepted only if it falls within the flipkart return policy. Refund of ₹XYZ amount will be added to your original payment mode within 2 business days(Bank holidays not included) after pick up is completed."
Every time, I contact Flipkart they keep on extending the date by which this matter will be resolved and refund initiated, making me frustrated with this behavior. I have therefore decided to take a legal action against Flipkart. I wanted to promote their business but they just don't care. They do not respect and value their customers.
