[Resolved]  Flipkart — fake update by seller - omnitech retail also known as consulting rooms private limited

I purchased a Samsung Air conditioner from flipkart on 19th June 2018 with order id – OD[protected], but the product I received was different from what I ordered. I requested for a replacement. The next replacement product I received on 10th July 2018. On 11th July 2018 the Samsung technician came to install the product but as they opened the product they found one power cord was missing, which I need to purchase at the cost of Rs 1000. I informed Flipkart about the issue and they proceed for the refund. As per their policy they schedule a technician visit by their partner Jeeves Ltd to confirm the product before the refund is processed. I received an SMS from Jeeves that the technician visit is scheduled on 15th July 2018, but the seller cancelled the refund on 13th July with the fake update that my issue was resolved by troubleshooting. I informed the incident to flipkart and again a new return request was created. Again a technician visit was scheduled on 17th July 2018, but again the seller cancelled the refund with a fake update that my issue was resolved by troubleshooting on 16 July 2018. Again I informed Flipkart about this fake update. Flipkart has 10 days return policy and if they cancel everytime then the return period will cross and they won’t take back the product.

Finally after waiting over a month I got my money refunded. Next time I will avoid Flipkart to purchase as they donot have a good support to solve the case. None of the technician visited to check the issue of the missing cord. but finally Flipkart were ready to process for the refund. If they would have done that why so late why not in first place?? Definitely avoid omnitechretail

Customer raised a concern stating that he had issue with the replacement product also and he was informed that he will get refund for the order but multiple times the return was cancelled.
Spoke to customer and arranged for refund on behalf of seller. Closing the case.
