[Resolved]  Flipkart — flipkart willfully insulted and cancelled my successful order and wasted seven days of effort

Flipkart and amazon deals were going on for last few days and i am looking for iphone 7 32 gb (Rose gold colour) as gifting to my wife. Yesterday i was comparing prices with flipkart and amazon with cash back offer for the above mentioned apple product. Within 10 minutes of span, prices for same product is fluctuating without any parity. Yesterday midnight in last minute checking out of price for apple iphone 7 in both amazon and flipkart, i got deal in flipkart finally and purchased the above mentioned product in 3 months emi using citi bank credit card along with using gift voucher on inr767. All transactions are complete and i received purchase confirmation email from flipkart. Yesterday at 11:55 pm i received email and sms that flipkart cancelled and refunded amount without any valid fault from my end.in sms they mentioned, "order cancelled: sorry, your order for apple iphone 7 (Rose gold 32 gb) has been cancelled by the seller as they had listed the price incorrectly due to an unforeseen error". Purchasing this product, i spent one week continuous effort which is now in vain. Even i missed the deal of amazon which is also lucrative that moment too. Flipkart cannot toy with customers whenever they feel like. Flipkart just destroyes and insult my self esteem, self respect to my family members and to my wife. Order can be cancelled from my end only if i wish. They can not cancel the order on my behalf. This incident proves that flipkart does not have commitments to customers. By their wrong doing flipkart is contradicting with their own banner in website and facebook (Best brand - best price - assured service.. And "flipkart perfect buy"). Whatever y flipkart is doing, is wrong business practice. So arrange the ordered iphone 7 what i ordered exactly and deliver in time.

I am not worried about refund and I did not raise any question regarding refund because I purchased iPhone 7 32GB (Rose Gold) by paying full amount.

I agree with you and you have mentioned in your last email in paragraph no.5, "We would like to let you know that the offers and discounts for products vary from time to time and are valid only for a certain period. This largely depends on sellers and we suggest that you place an order immediately to avail any offer you see on an item you like. "

Following the above mentioned context referred by you, I placed the order immediately to avail promotional discount offer by Flipkart on 12th August 2017 Midnight. The price for iPhone 7 32 GB (Rose Gold) was INR56200.00 at the time of purchase and the price is listed with sam value & fixed by the seller till date. Flipkart offered two promotional discounts i.e. INR7201.00 and INR13201.00 during placing order and my purchase. I did pay INR35798.00 after all promotional discount offered by Flipkart. The seller did not made any change in price till date. Due to promotional discount by Flipkart, the price of above mentioned product came down to INR35001.00 and the promotional discount by Flipkart was fluctuating time to time. So please do not blame the seller. Seller is very honest. Here I find that Flipkart has willfully rejected with malafide intention to quash / set aside my order. This is absolutely shocking and I am thoroughly disappointed after this incident. Due to this incident I faced huge mental harassment, wastage of seven working days effort, face loss to my family members, felt insult my self-esteem & self-respect.

From internet and different websites I found that cancelling orders are bacame regular habit of Flipkart with flimsy reason. Lots of customers are complaning with similar kind of issue.

I expect that an esteemed organization like yours should take good care of valued customers, understand their sentiment and honor the promises it makes to them. It should not transfer the responsibility of the mistakes made at their end to the customers.

Therefore I appeal that you keep your words, roll back your decision of cancelling the purchase order (PO) and complete it as per the promotional discount offer made initially. This can only alleviate the grievance that I presently have and make me confident again to recommend your website to others.
