[Resolved]  Flipkart — mental harassment due to unethical delivery practice and service from flipkart

Hi,

I ordered an mi tv on 5th september 2019 from flipkart under their
"ganpati festival sale" - order # od[protected]. I had opted to exchange my old lcd tv after looking carefully at the t&cs stated by flipkart.

The delivery date was 7th sep 2019 but the tv was delivered at 9th sep 2019 after numerous follow-ups. On 9th sep 2019, the delivery boy (Wishmaster) verified my old tv for 10-12 minutes and found that the tv had a sound issue. He denied to pick up the old tv due to this issue. I spoke to him and explained that as the t&cs stated in flipkart, this is not an issue. He replied me stating that "no one over here either reads or follows the terms and conditions, we do our checks and decide". I have pasted the terms and conditions for reference below.

Please note that the order was to be delivered at rajkot, gujarat (Pin: 360005) whose delivery team did not care to follow the t&cs. The wish master name and contact details are as below. They insisted that if flipkart informs us, we have no issues in exchanging your old tv.

I thereby contacted flipkart every day from 9th sep 2019 until 13th sep 2019 (Today) to seek help. They had raised the incident in[protected] on 9th sep 2019 with a promised resolution date of 12th sep, 2:30 pm. They kept assuring me that their team will contact me, but no one called me till date.

My parents stay in rajkot who were expecting this delivery. This is a clear case of "mental harassment of senior citizens" and i will request flipkart to compensate by considering the exchange of my old tv and also by furnishing an unconditional apology to me and my parents.

To quote, these are the terms and conditions that were stated in flipkart.

"please note that working tvs (As per the customer declaration) with no physical damage will be eligible for exchange and for non-working tvs (As per the customer declaration) with no physical damage will be eligible for exchange"

Products that will not be picked up:

For working conditions tv:
Not working (If customer has not already declared this while opting exchange) - not switching on
Display issue - discoloration, spots, lines or static on a part of the screen. Muddled or no display
Screen damage - scratches or crack on the screen
Plasma tvs will not be accepted
Black and white tvs and monitor screens will not be accepted
Any government sponsored/ngo funded freebie (Gift) tv will not be accepted

For tvs in not working condition (As per the customer declaration)

Screen/body damage - scratches or crack on the screen/body
Plasma tvs will not be accepted
Black and white tvs and monitor screens will not be accepted
Any government sponsored/ngo funded freebie (Gift) tv will not be accepted.

Expecting a resolution at the earliest.
