[Resolved] Flipkart — no delivery almost for a month and then cancelled. | |||||
I ordered tv on 23rd march from flipkart app using no cost emi where flipkart gave me discount equal to my interest cost (Rs.1, 063/-) that will be charged by hdfc. The expected delivery of the product was on 30th march but even after constant follow ups and talking to customer support supervisors all i got was false assurance and empty promises. Finally i received a call on 12th april almost 2 weeks after expected delivery where flipkart representative asked me to cancel my order which will result in me taking the hit of interest charged by hdfc for cancelling order. I told them i won't cancel and i am ready to wait for few days if flipkart delivers my order but i get a message from flipkart next day stating my order has been cancelled by seller.in between me getting charged my first emi and interest. After talking to multiple customer support representatives and supervisors about the whole situation after cancellation i get directed to '[protected]@flipkart.com'. The call i received from the person from this team was not at all apologetic about the whole instance and more like an investigation where he kept telling me i need to call my bank and tell them i shouldn't be charged since flipkart processed the refund even after telling him that it is almost a month and bank already charged me emi and interest. It felt like i was asking for something that i looted from them leave all the mental trauma i went through for almost a month and wasting my time following up with flipkart and now resolving this issue to get refund of my interest and charge from hdfc. This was a horrific experience and total waste of time buying something on flipkart for an occasion for someone which will pass soon and i might end up buying new tv from offline market and might pay more (Another loss to me for choosing flipkart). I wish i would have chosen amazon none the less learnt my lesson and will neither use flipkart nor recommend to my enemies ever. I so want to sue flipkart for all the mess and mental trauma they are causing me from a month, time i wasted, product i didn't get on time which was a gift and money charged by my bank for cancelling emi. Verified Support May 07, 2018 Flipkart Customer Care's response Customer has raised the concern for order cancellation and EMI charges. We have interacted with the customer, apologized and informed that seller has refunded the amount. Requested to get in touch with bank regarding the EMI charges. Customer was not happy with the resolution. Closing the complaint from our side.
