[Resolved]  Flipkart — no return despite sending a wrong battery

I placed an order for samsung galaxy tab battery t231. Instead of that the seller shipped me a different battery of another model. My order no is id od[protected]. The battery was delivered on 24 oct. I immediately raised a return and refund request, which was accepted and i went ahead to book another battery from another seller (Which was delivered before time and is running well). On 26 oct, without giving any reason, the return request was cancelled. The customer care was of no help in determining, why it was cancelled, however he helped me raise another return request. A person from e cart (Flipkart calls them wishmaster) arrived on 28 oct and refused to take the battery back, as it was not sane as what was shown on the flipkart website, from where the battery was ordered, i tried hard to explain it to him, that if it would have been the same battery, i would not return it. The return request was raised as the model of the battery was different.. He kept insisting on the same battery and finally left. Flipkart customer cate again assured me that the battery would be taken back, as in their records the return request was still active, two hours after i spoke to the customer rep, the return request was cancelled second time.
Customer care again assured me that the battery would be picked up and sized another return request. I got a sms that the wishmaster would pick up the battery on 04 nov, however, on 30 oct, i got another sms, asking me to keep the battery ready as the wishmaster would pick it up by 2100 hrs (9 pm). At 1830 hrs, again without any reason or communication flipkart cancelled the rerun and refund request.
Customer care now for the fourth time has taken a return request, which would now be verified and then only processed. The end result is that the battery is still with me.. And my money has not been refunded.
On three occasions, i have been told that the complaint has been escalated, however on ground no one has inquired and every time i call customer care, the clueless customer care rep, just gives me some cock and bull story, which keeps contradicting the one given to me earlier or with facts on ground...

It seems that i have given a forced donation to flipkart on diwali

We are sorry to hear that you’ve not received the refund of your Product. The seller has refunded on 02 Nov 19 and this should be reflecting in your source account by 06 Nov 19. If you do not see the refund in your account by this time, please check the previous statement of your bank account before reaching out to the bank. You may contact your bank’s customer care using the number mentioned on the back of your card with the reference number in case you need further assistance. If they are unable to help, you may raise a dispute with the bank's grievance department cell.

The battery has been picked up and a refund generated, however I have still not got the answers to my basic questions

Why were my return requests cancelled by the seller, and coustomer service of Flipkart was clueless as to the reason of the cancellation

When the wish master arrived and I had raised a return request stating that I have been given a different model battery why was this information not available with him and he insisted on me returning the same battery as was shown on website

Why did the seller send me a wrong battery and what actions have been initiated by Flipkart to ensure it does not happen again

Why was there such a big disconnect between e-kart and Flipkart regarding the return

Why did Flipkart customer reps kept giving me different stories every time I spoke to them ..

Thanks for facilitating the return ... but honestly I consider it a failure on part of Flipkart to monitor its sellers and it’s delievery agency

Why did I keep getting error messages when I wanted to write to Flipkart and upload the images of the battery on their website ( image of the error was put in the original complaint

Also the numbers of the grievance officer for Flipkart shown on consumer complaints website ( both of them ) have their incoming calls barred, so are not available
