I have been using Flipkart services for a while and havent faced any serious issues till your billion day sale. From there on the Service of Flipkart has deteriorated beyond customer satisfaction, to how to
completely dis-satisfy the customer.
I am writing this mail after a long conversation with Mr. Kamal who has escalated this issue, escalation id being[protected], after a lengthy conversation.
To cut a long story short, here are the sequence of events.
I order a Redmi phone on the 28th of November, as a gift, with the estimated delivery date as 1st Nov 2014.
Since I had not received the consignment I logged a ticket with Flipkart CS to which I was promised a resolution the 7th of November Today is the 7th and instead of receiving the phone today, I get an sms
stating that my PREPAID Item has been canceled.
Well I wish you could just put yourself in my patient shoes.. and tell me your reaction to my grievance.
I know of people who have ordered it on cash on delivery at much later sale dates and having received the items well in time. I dont know why Flipkart chooses to make the prepaid customers suffer. Let alone that
offer resolutions like kindly replace the order. Not every person enjoys waiting for 2pm to see the wheel of adding to cart happen in tens of minutes...
I find a total turn around in the service standards of Flipkart and trust me if this is what it boils down to in me getting a refund after 10 days of waiting, better still would be to deactivate my flipkart account from your end itself as you have done with my order.
A consumer should not be taken lightly and his geniune concerns should be addressed. and cancellation of a transaction might be the easiset fro the company based on the Terms and conditions. But is an unethical way of doing business. Was this information helpful? |
