Flipkart — Ordered 2 Laptops, received only 1

Ordered 2 laptops on 24th May (ASUS Core i3 11th Gen - (8 GB/256 GB SSD/Windows 10 Home) X515EA-EJ312TS Thin and Light Laptop (15.6 inch, Transparent Silver, 1.80 kg, With MS Office) and (ASUS Core i3 11th Gen - (8 GB/256 GB SSD/Windows 10 Home) X515EA-EJ312TS Thin and Light Laptop (15.6 inch, Transparent Silver, 1.80 kg, With MS Office)

Friday 28th May at 9.14am I received a message from Flipkart which had 1 OTP to be shared with the delivery guy. Anybody would assume that 1 OTP is shared because you have ordered 2 same laptops from the same seller

Friday 28th May at around 9.30am I received a box in which I assumed both my laptops will be there as I ordered 2 same laptops from the same seller so I shared the OTP with the delivery guy

I opened the box but there was only 1 laptop

Friday 28th May at 9.40am I raised the issue on Flipkart app about missing item and got a confirmation from your team regarding the same that it will be resolved by 9th June 9.30am
Wednesday 2nd June at 4.19pm I received an email from Flipkart ("Hello Vineet

""To help you with your return request, please share the below documents within the next 48 hours by clicking on 'Contact Us'. Please ensure the files are only upto 2 MB in size (JPEG, PNG, PDF formats only).
1.Scanned copy/ clear photo of both sides of Aadhaar or Driving License or Voter ID. Please ensure that the information on your photo ID should match the details on your recent order(s).
2.Full image of the product received (front side of the product)
3.Image of the manufacturing label (manufacturing date, expiry date, etc.)
4.If the product is damaged, image of the product such that the damage is visible

We will be validating the ID proof shared by you through a third-party service provider. Please provide your consent to Flippant for use of the identity proof that will be provided by you for the purpose of authenticating the Flipkart Account. Please share the following clause in your reply along with the photo ID so we can work on your request.

Wednesday 2nd June at 4.22pm received another email ("Hello Vineet

We are writing to you about your recent order for the ASUS Core i3 11th Gen - (8 GB/256 GB SSD/Windows 10 Home) X515EA-EJ312TS Thin and Light Laptop.

Since the courier service provider has confirmed that the order was delivered to you with the product intact during the investigation, we would like to file an FIR on behalf of you about the missing item. Please reply to this email and send a scanned copy of the duly filled and signed form that is attached within {48 HOURS}.
Thursday 3rd June at 7.34pm I sent the scanned copy of the duly filled and signed form. Shared the Aadhaar copy as well but I could not share the images of the product received because I never received the product.
Tuesday 8th June at 3.09pm I received an email from Flipkart as I failed to upload images of a product that I didn’t receive they have closed my request for refund.
I immediately requested for a call back from Flipkart team as I am unable to connect to their toll free number from my Vodafone phone number which was the number used while placing the order. When I tried to call from my other number the IVR disconnected saying there was no order placed from this number and all their executives are currently busy. (You will know later why all their executives are always busy)
9th June As I requested for a call back. I got the call and explained the exact issue to the Flipkart team again. The executive said “Please don’t worry about your issue” “I will help in resolving your issue” Being a customer you say whatever the heck you want to but your team will respond with the same statement as above. He assured me that he has raised another complaint and it will be resolved by 13th June. I got the confirmation about this via email as well
Till 13th June EOD nothing happened. No calls no messages no updates from Flipkart team
14th June I requested for a call back again and got one. I explained the issue again to another executive. He assured I will definitely get an update from the Flipkart team before 9pm IST.
Till 14th June 9pm IST nothing happened. No calls no messages no updates from Flipkart team
15th June I requested for a call back again and got one. I explained the issue again to another executive. He assured I will definitely get an update from the Flipkart team before 17th June. He was a little helpful so he gave me a complaint number as well –[protected]
Wednesday 16th June received an email from Flipkart team (Dear Customer,

We have escalated your issue to the concerned team. We assure you that we will resolve your problem by 19 Jun, 10:00 AM.)
Saturday 19th June received an email from Flipkart team (Dear Customer,

We apologise for taking longer than expected to resolve your issue. We request you to provide us time till 20 Jun, 10:00 AM to get back to you.)
Sunday 20th June at 10.48pm which was 12 hours after the time that was promised received an email from Flipkart team (We’d like to let you know that your return request could not be fulfilled by the seller as their courier partner has confirmed delivery of the item in your order with order id OD[protected] with the product being intact.)

Its been exactly 23 days and the issue is still not resolved. I have not received my refund rather twice your team has closed the issue saying seller has confirmed that the product was delivered to me intact. Before closing both issues your team didn’t care to speak to me even once to discuss the issue.
Let me ask a few questions to you :
Why will I sign a FIR consent copy if I have received the product?
In 15 days I ordered 4 laptops from Flipkart and raised an issue only about 1 of those Why?

Here is a tip for everyone who read the above story – Don’t ever buy 2 quantities of same product from the same seller on Flipkart. They will send 1 OTP which you will also assume is for 2 items but you will receive only 1 item. Then they will make you spend hours to get your refund but without any communication they will close the issues saying (Delivery was made with OTP verification)
I never thought Flipkart would do this to a customer who has been a loyal customer to them for years.
I am going to file a case in consumer court now to get my refund.

I am following up with your team since 23 days and twice they closed the request saying the seller has confirmed that the product was delivered to me.

Did your team discuss with me? No
Are you going to just rely on what the seller is saying?
Do you want the CCTV footage of me receiving the package which can fit only 1 laptop in it?
I ordered 4 laptops from you guys in 15 days and raised an issue only for 1 of those, do you think I am playing a game here?
Why did your team close the issue twice without even discussing with me?
How can your team ask me to upload images of the product that I didnt receive?
Is this the way you guys do business?
The product was sold by Mrig technologies pvt ltd from Bengaluru, Why cant I see him on your seller list anymore?

Its been 27 days now and you guys still want more time to look into this issue? Shouldnt this on be on your top priority? A customer has been waiting for refund for 27 days who bought 4 other laptops from your site in 15 days..Is this how you treat your customers?
