[Resolved] Flipkart — refund fraud | |||
Hi team, I am writing this to report a concern with my previous order with flipkart. Ordered item: asus rog strix g core i7 9th gen - (16 gb/1 tb hdd/256 gb ssd/windows 10 home/4 gb graphics) g531gt-al041t gaming laptop (15.6 inch, black, 2.4 kg) Ordered date: sun, sep 29th '19 Due to network and payment issues, my order was getting cancelled and unknowingly it got placed thrice. 1st order - payment was not successful. 2nd order - order processing (Amount got deducted from bank) - od[protected] 3rd order - order successful and product delivered - od[protected] My regsitered email id: [protected]@gmail.com For an order that ideally costs 74, 389, i ended up paying 1, 48, 778. However, i raised the issue with flipkart and thought the refund will be processed soon. Flipkart asked 21 days to resolve the issue and i waited. Flipkart opened the issue [incident: in[protected]] and till 29th october, you were giving me update saying "we are trying to resolve this issue". But now, i see that: 1. You say we are trying to call you but couldn't connect. But i never get a call. 2. When i call, you always say we are looking into it and will get back shortly. 3. When i checked my flipkart account today, you guys completely removed the order od[protected] and the issue related to it. And today when i called flipkart, the executives talking to me were saying: 1. Order id od[protected] doesn't exist at all. As if i made it up and am demanding a fraudulant refund 2. Since, the order od[protected] isn't reflecting in my application, i asked him to help me out but he talks like your money is gone and we cant help you. 3. I asked him to forward the concern to his higher management, but he says i wont do that. What kind of customer support is this? When i reachout to my bank, they say flipkart has claimed the amount and they are not liable for the refund but you guys are acting as if the order was never placed. Verified Support Feb 27, 2020 Flipkart Customer Care's response Hi, We’re sorry to let you know that your order OD[protected] was unsuccessful even though the amount was debited from your bank account/credit card. The refund will be initiated within the next 24 hours and should be credited to your account as per standard banking procedures. You will also receive an email and SMS once this has been done. We would like to thank you for your understanding.
