[Resolved] Flipkart — regarding deactivation of flipkart pay later | |
Without knowing that Flipkart pay later would reflect in my CIBIL report, I've given my details to it for activation. Later I came to know that Flipkart has opened a personal loan account on behalf of me with IDFC first bank without my notice. I've asked the bank to close the account and they've said that they can't do it and Flipkart have to do it. When I asked Flipkart, they're saying they don't have such option to close it. The problem is it is reflecting in my CIBIL report and the organisation which I've joined for my job is asking me a clean CIBIL report. I don't have any pending debt in that account and still I'm not able to close my account. No one is responding, should I lose my job because of their irresponsibility ?? My name is Pratik and I have been using Flipkart since 2013. I am one of your Plus Member customers.

I have raised a Complaint no# IN[protected].
First of all I want to tell you that I am getting a very irresponsible / bad response from your Customer support team and I am very unhappy with it. I have been trying to get in touch with one of your representatives who can resolve my issue but it's been 4-5 days but i haven't received a call back yet from your backend team.
I have talked to the Flipkart help center representative multiple times but they have not called me back to resolve my issue. (I talked to Kashis and Agniga and two more representative whom i don't remember the name and i have recorded the voice call incase if you need)
My issue is:
I bought 3 shoes in March 2020 i.e., Order ID: OD[protected] & OD[protected].
And as i didn't like the shoes i raised a return request based on your 30days return policy.
I raised the return request before 22nd March i.e., before Lockdown was imposed but nobody was knowing that Lockdown was going to happen and due to that nobody came to pick up the return request and I was unable to raise any return request again in flipkart on that period of time.
I had paid the money from my Flipkart pay later account for all these orders and as i wanted to return the shoes, i didn't pay flipkart pay later money because after the return i was going to get my money back in my Flipkart pay later account but this didn't happen.
After 1 month i.e., in April 2020 I received a call from the Flipkart Pay later team that I had not paid the money of my Flipkart pay later dues. I explained to them that I have few items to return so, once the item gets returned i will pay the pending amount and they said - OK. The reason i didn't pay was because if i would have paid the money i was not going to get it back because the return policy was over till then and it was Flipkart responsibility to take back the item.
Now in the year 2021, I noticed that this Flipkart pay later amount is showing as a Personal loan in IDFC First bank and has even added charges on my principal amount and affecting my CIBIL score.
I never received any call, no messages and no emails regarding this and everything has been done without my knowledge and without any notice.
Please look into this issue as soon as possible because I tried to contact the Flipkart help center but I haven't received a reply on it.
