I had booked a ticket through Flipkart.com from Delhi to Frankfurt (PNR - YJZ3T) for 11 Dec 2021. I have raised a request for the cancellation of the ticket on Nov 30, 2021 via Flipkart.
I have repeatedly called Flipkart regarding the same and was told that cancellation is pending from Air India.
I had a conversation with the AIR INDIA team and as per them the status of the ticket is still confirmed and AIR INDIA is telling me that travel booking Flipkart has still not transferred the cancel request.
The Flipkart support executives states that it takes 120+9 days for a refund but why the cancellation is showing still pending as I have logged the ticket for cancellation a week before. (on 30 Nov, 2021)
So if cancellation is already requested, then how come the status in AIR India still shows confirmed. I have just 4 days left for that ticket and if cancellation is done after 11th Dec then I am going to lose my money.
I have tried several times to get a written email for a cancellation request from Flipkart but I haven't received any response. If this is not going to be taken seriously I am going to raise the concern to consumer court because this is very unethical behavior from Flipkart as they trying to loot their constant customer.
Also, this behavior is going to hamper your reputation for flight booking in the future.
Please take an action ASAP and cancel the ticket or else I will not leave a stone unturned to defame you in any portal. I myself have worked in a reputed organization and vow to spread the behavior elsewhere.
Flipkart.com and AirIndia please look into this as it seems there is a miss from your end.
