[Resolved]  Flipkart — unprofessional services by flipkart

I have bought asus zenfone max pro m1 with order id od[protected] for my older parents living in other state on 15th feb 2019 with "no questions asked" buy back option of rs 9000 by paying extra which was going to be expired on 18th march. On 15th march i ordered zenfone max pro m2 by buyback coupon and paying 1099 extra (999+100 rs delivery charges). It was supposed to be deliverd on 17th march. The exchange person came but found other imei no. Which was not linked to buyback coupon (Its a dual sim so it has two imei nos') even though the said imei no. Was mentioned on back panel of the phone and on the phones box. He rejected it and asked them to cancel the order and reorder with the other imei no. I was not available at that time and my parents listend to him and later told me what happend. I checked the phone and i was able to see both the imei no's. I have spoke with flipkart person whether to cancel the order and reorder but he assured me not to cancel the order and by giving promise that phone will be delivered on or before 19th. I have clearly asked him as my buy back coupon was going to get expired on 18th. He said once the order is placed the offer will be valid even the date has passed. By believing his assurance i didnt cancel the order but continuosly followed up. They said they are looking into it. They have escalated it and so on. They asked me to send the pictures of the phone in all angles. My father send some pictures which i have sent the mail. Again on 19th morning they have mailed that the pictures sent were not clear and asked me to send back again. I have to send other person to my parents place to take the pictures and video again and send it. Then i called the customer person and requested to reply. He said the issue will be resolved by 20th afternoon. Today i got a mail that the ordered was cancelled. When i asked flipkart customer care service they said the seller has cancelled it and they cant do anything about it. I could have easily cancelled it and re orderd it on 17th or 18th they agreed its their mistake and said sorry and told they cant do anything and asked me to re order without buy back coupon. I feel cheated and exploited. After long conversations and mails patiently responding to all requests of flipkart with hope that mobile will be delivered as their promise. It was supposed be a pleasant surprise for my parents but it turned out to be appalling. I lost trust in flipkart and i will suggest everyone not to buy from flipkart.
