Fo Technology — work from home job harassment from the company

I have taken a work from home opportunity from this company and i did inform them on the first day of work that i couldn't continue this work, due to personal emergency. They suddenly started harassing and asking to pay some amount for extension period and now they are asking for again payments and finally mentioned that they are going to file a case.
