Purchased from malayalam ford, kochi in nov 2013. (Kl 42 h 7722) all the periodical service and repairs done by malayalam ford only. As my car effected by flooding in aug 2018, i contacted malayalam ford for repair. It was flooded just up to dash board. They took the vehicle to the service centre in august last 2018. I submitted the rc and insurance paper to the service centre. They told me that, all the insurance formalities will be done by them. After few days, when i enquired about the estimated cost of repair and the amount which is granted by the insure company, they told me that all the cost of repair will be met by insurance company. My car insurance value was rs.500000. (Five lakh). I do not need to pay anything from my pocket. During repairing period, my son visited three times to the service centre, then also they repeated the same words. After completion of the repair, they told me that, the total repair cost is rs. 260000 (Two lakh sixty thousand). And i have to pay rs.75000 (Seventy five thousand) from my pocket. Remaining amount will be given by insurance company. They kept me in dark about the estimated cost of repair and the amount granted by insurance company till last, despite asking several times. I paid rs.75000 to get my car released. After driving about 6km, when we entered a petrol pump, windows and diesel tank cap were not opening. They came and took the car back, and yesterday they delivered the car back. (30/11/2018). I am planning to get my car inspected by another agency/work shop to make sure that they have renewed the parts mentioned in the bill including central processing unit. Their behaviour was also very rude to my wife and son. Now front passenger side door window is not opening. The keys they have given is different type and i am unable to open the door with manual key. Air bag indication is also lit on the panel. Was this information helpful? |
