I am going to start with the most important thing and that is the inefficiency of the staff catering to the needs of the consumers at the Forever21 website.
I have been a regular customer at Forever21 and whenever I have an issue I have to call the customer services at least 5 times to get it rectified. I returned two products like a month back and I have still not received my money back. I have to call them at every stage to get a response from them.
An instance:
I ordered four products from the website on the 27th of June. One day later, I return two products. I get no refund or notification from them even 10 days later. So I call them.
Me: Has the returned product reached the warehouse?
Staff: Yes, they reached today. We will initiate the refund soon.
Me: Can you confirm that you have received both the products I returned? Staff: Yes Ma'am. We have received both the products and I have initiated the refund request of Rs 2098.
Twenty days later and after getting no refund from them I call again.
Me: When will you initiate the refund process?
Staff: We initiated it today for Rs.1049.
Me: I returned two products. My refund should be Rs. 2098.
Staff: I am sorry but the other product has not reached us. It has been picked up from you but we do not have it in the warehouse.
Later the staff told me she will check from her side.
I do not know what she will check and how I will get my money back. Everything seems to be happening only when I ask them to do it! It is so annoying. I am firstly spending money on the products and then I am spending my money calling them time to time. And this has been happening every time I return any product.
Sometimes they don't even receive the returned product (even though I have returned them and I have proof). They do not even bother notifying us that they have not received it unless I call and ask them! Its shameful that the website of such a big brand has such poor customer service. I have to wait for so long to receive my own money.
