[Resolved]  Fortis Healthcare — When well know Doctor lies, casual approach towards patient

Date: 6th April 2022 @10.30 OPD appointment with Dr.Uma Dangi

Patient with Anterior mediastinal mass.

Our patient had a visit to Fortis Mulund hospital in OPD hours to check up and consultation with Dr.Uma Dangi.
As per Dr.Uma patient seems stable but he needs observation and he could be faint! which even doctor was not sure!
She advise for hospitalization for 5 days to diagnosis and observation, so we started admission process and by the evening time we got the bed.
Our patient was stable and cautions and till that time no medicine or IV has given.
since whole day patient didn't had anything so we was feeling bit dizziness and later that patient ate light snacks and then he was feeling much better. but he started coughing between some time.
we asked Doctor Uma to check and give some medication but she took it very easily and said seems he is scared so he is feeling bit nervous and dizziness. also patient said to Uma that I'm not feeling comfortable and facing breathing issue. But Dr.Uma Dangi again ignore that symptoms indication and advise the available nurse (and not the assistance doctor as she don't have any assistance doctor) that put the patient on O2 for 2ltr and give IV of NS.
then later that Dr.Umar left for the day at home and our patient started collapsing around 9pm the available nurse staff was not is position to handle this situation and keep the patient suffer for whole night. they took only BP and temperature reading in night! as even they dont have any guideline for patient.
On the next day 7th April morning there was schedule test to do, for that they took the patient and in that test finding was blood test PT-INT is not in range and further biopsy cant do. same information from testing lag Dr.Rajat has informed to Dr.Uma.
Till the time there were no medication has given. and looking at the patient condition she advise for PT-scan where patient was not much comfortable but she took the decision and asked to do! Patient was empty stomach! he was craving for food and water.
Then later patient become breathless and from here then the Dr.Uma awake and she seek help from surgeon Dr.Arun Bhel for further procedure.
between this she loop other two more surgeon cardiologist and the plan for operation. we were not having any clue what's going on and how to face this situation. our patient shifted to ICU its like within 24hrs from normal situation to ICU turn on.
Dr.Uma said nothing to worry just to keep under observation we shifted to ICU and further medication steroid we will give so patient will feel better.
After some couple of hours again Dr.Uma had called all o[censored]s and along with 5-6 specialist doctors to meet and she said we need to take chance with patient as steroid didn't work, we will remove some water and try to stable to the patient.
Around 5pm again Dr.Uma had called us and this time along with 8-10 doctors and said patient is not improving.
We were in complete shock from normal stable patient situation how got turn in worse and what medication of steroid and removal water procedure that even we didn't see is it really done.
Dr.Uma and Dr.Arun and Dr.Vijay Shetty said we will operate him you make the fund arrangement for this operation estimation was 8.5 lacks and after that 5days of ICU plus doctors and medication would be 2.5lakhs so if you were ready we will proceed.
We were not having any choice nor even our mind is working that moment where we dont want loose our patient and we said go ahead.
On our go ahead Dr.Uma left for home and rest cardiologist and Oncologist then they took him for operation around 10pm after that around 1.30AM Dr.ARun said we were doing good patient is stable in operation theater, everything's seems to be fine. around 3.30AM again Dr.Arun came outside of operation theater said patient condition is not good we were trying our best. It was shocking for us to accept and then around 4AM Dr.Arun come and said we did our best and now will wait for patient to get stable he explained situation very nicely which gave us the hope and Dr.Arun Bhel smartly took the signature on register stating that we have explained the patient condition and patient parents and relative understood it. they took patient from OT to ICU and they keep on pumping the balloon so patient BP should look in control, after moving to ICU bed with in 10minuts they started removing all machinery and equipment's and said patient is no more. If you want keep oxygen then will keep till your relatives come. This moment was unexpected and shocking for parents were their 24yrs old son they simply declare dead in 48hrs from Normal condition to ICU and then dead.
I urge Dr.Uma Dangi is not capable doctor to handle such situation and she is taking false call and giving fake commitment.
Dr.Arun Bhel being so experience and know doctor playing with emotions of patient parents. Patient was dead in Operation theater but didnt declare and took good feedback for him self.

We were not able to see what even he has done with patient Anterior mediastinal mass does it really got operated or they took advantage of such good young fir body parts organs for other purpose. As they already checked the patient background seems to be from poor family and they cant take any calls.

In this 48hrs of event parents loss their 24hrs son who has just started his career in banking industry. But Fortis as hospital is good but doctors took the advantage of it.

reason behind this complaints is atopy report and the biopsy report says something which is not said by Dr.Uma Dr.Arun and other cardiologist.
