I submitted an application for my original pass certificate on 22nd March 2024 via the GU Portal (guportal.in), with Token No.: [protected] and User Registration ID: GRD1254285. Despite waiting for almost three months, I have not received any updates or the certificate itself.
On 27th May 2024, I visited the concerned department at Gauhati University, and I was assured that my certificate would be ready within the next 5-10 days. However, no progress has been made. I visited the university again on 14th June 2024 to follow up on the issue, but this time, the staff refused to assist me and stated they did not know how long it would take to issue my certificate.
This delay is causing severe inconvenience as I need the original pass certificate to verify my application for MA registration at Tezpur University. The deadline for this verification is in November, and failure to submit the required document by then will result in the cancellation of my registration, thus jeopardizing my future academic and career plans.
Despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue with the university administration, there has been no satisfactory response or action taken. I believe that the undue delay and the unhelpful attitude of the university staff constitute negligence and a failure to fulfill their responsibilities.
In light of the above, I request you to kindly register my complaint and take necessary action against Gauhati University for causing undue stress and potential harm to my academic career. I hope for a prompt and fair resolution to this matter.
