Received a call today from number [protected]. Told me calling from sbi after looking at my payment history and all, valuable customer benefits for 1 year with issuance of a discount card. The card has facilites like 1) 30 % discount in all retail and restaurant outlets. 2) free accommodation for 3 days 2 night trip in se-asia and india, twice a year 3) free medical check up. 4) ucb wrist watch A credit card amount of rs 8450 will be charged. But then he asked me to spell out my name, which i did. Then asked me to go to icici payment gateway and make a payment under "genisis programme consultancy pvt ltd" which i didnt agreed to. Started threatening me, that i gave a verbal consent and rs 8450 wil be anyway charged and all. Kindly look into the matter and take action against these offenders. I received the same call with similar details being told n asked. Since you have made its been almost 6 months has there been any action taken by Indian consumer complaints form ?? If genesis program consultancy pvt ltd is a fraud company how come they still have a Gateway page for receiving payments from consumers ???
