[Resolved] Getmecab — taxi service run by dacoits | |||||
I had booked a taxi through GetMeCab from Chandigarh to Delhi and back. I had booked a sedan at 10/- per km. While coming back, the driver stopped the taxi near Gohana and demanded 5000/- as an extra amount. It was around 9 PM and pitch dark on the road. He told me that if I did not pay, he shall dump me on the highway. I paid him the extra amount for my safety. Later when I called up the call center, the executive said that they had no responsibility of what we paid directly to the driver. When I told him that I can inform the police, he started laughing and dared me to call the police. Worst service. Was this information helpful? | |||||
