[Resolved]  GHMC — Registration of Birth details of new born

Hello Sir, I have raised a complaint with grievance number[protected]W158447) with GHMC(Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation) on 28th April, 2015. The complaint was for issue of birth certificate of my newly born son on 25th march, 2015. Though the hosipal authorities have submitted the details to GHMC within 21 days, till date they have not yet registered my son's details in the records. The hospital also has raised complaint but there is no update so far from them. Below are the list of things which I have been doing for the past 2 week and this was the response from GHMC. 1) Raised a complaint to GHMC on 28th April, 2015. Got a grievance number online and the message that it has been forwarded to Yadagiri Rao, DC of Circle9 of GHMC. 2) I called the DC Yadagiri Rao on 30th in order to know the reason for delay and he said he has moved to different department and asked me to call Kota Rama Rao, AMOH of Circle 9 3) I called up GHMC customer care and got the details of Kota Rama Rao. He asked us to come to GHMC municipal office of circle 9 section and get in contact with Narsaiah of Birth/Death section department anytime from 2 to 6PM. 4) We went on the same day in order to know the reason for delay and met Narsaiah. This person says that they are busy in GHMC elections verification and that is why even though they got details from hospital, they would not add. He accused that the detials would be added by next day. 5) I verified the ghmc site to check if the registration was done or not on may5th, 2015. Since there was no update, I waited for 2 to 3 more days and called up Kota Rama Rao, AMOH of circle9. This guy either did not pick up calls or when ever he picked up he said he was in meeting and call later. 6) Finally after couple of calls, when he was not responding, I asked one of my family members to call from different number. THis time he picked up the call and when we asked the reason for delay, this person was asking us to contact Mallikarjuna rao as it is his responsibiility and when we asked him the his number, he told us to get it from the place where we got his number. 7) When we called up customer support for mallikarjuna rao's details, they were reluctant to provide details. Interesting fact is that this circle 09 under GHMC is registering only details of Fernandes Hospital and no other hospital child births are getting registered. Why is it that only Fernandes hospital details are getting registered why not other hospitals birth registration? I would request GHMC authorities to atleast take action now

Finally after following up with all the officials, my request has been resolved. As a last attempt, I have called Zonal Commissioner of GHMC and because of his quick action, the issue got resolved in an hour. I called up Zonal Commissioner of Abids, the details of his number was mentioned in the complaint I raised and told him the problem I was facing in getting the certificate. He asked us to go to the office and you will give be given the registration immediately. After 5 minutes, I got a call from Abids zone health officer to give the details about the complaint and within an hour the registration was done. Thanks to the GHMC Zonal Commissioner Ravi Kumar sir for the appropriate and prompt action and response.
