GoAir — flight announced to be cancelled on call but actually it was not cancelled. need refund | |
We had booked 7 tickets for go air flight g8-293 from pune to bengluru 0n 25th dec 1.25am. When we called to check the flight status to official airlines number, audio record was saying that flight is cancelled. Also on website status was rescheduled. We tried to get connected with customer executive on call but every time we got message that all executives are busy. So throughout the day we just heard the announcement that flight is cancelled. So we booked the urgent tickets for indigo flight at similar time. When we went to airport to catch this indigo flight, we came to know that, this particular go air flight g8-293 was not cancelled and it was scheduled on time. We talked about this issue with the go air officer at the airport and also she heard the call and was agree for this mistake by airline. She asked us to write a mail and report this issue to airlines and refund will be provided, but we did not get response on mail. We request refund for these tickets, also we request you to bear at least the extra amount we had to pay for new replacement tickets. This issue has caused enormous financial and mental stress to us. This is our polite request that the go air should repay the cost. I am attaching both the go air and indigo flight tickets Was this information helpful? | |
