GoAir — flight cancellation / reschedule | |||
Hi, i have made a booking with goair for a flight g8-652 from chennai to cochin on 24th feb 2018 and a return flight on 26th feb g8-655. On 23rd i get a message from go air confirming that my flight was cancelled due to “issues beyond our control“. I made a call to them and got it rescheduled to a flight at 2.00 pm. I was travelling to my home town for an emergency. But i had no other option to reach home on time. Considering that this may be really something which was beyond their control., i flew with goair. But, the surprises never ends with goair i guess. On 25th, when i checked my phone, i saw a message from go air stating that my afternoon flight, for which i have already checked in got rescheduled to 4 in the evening.. Unfortunately, as this was an emergency travel i had to reach my office at 1 30 in the afternoon for an urgent meeting which i couldnot avoid. I called up the customer care to know the exact reason.. And also to know what can be done. They made me wait for nearly 45 minutes to get things done and that too which forced me to book another flight with another airlines costing me around 5k. Sure that goair lost a customer due to their bad customer service. But the time and money lost for me must be compensated. Was this information helpful? | |||
