GoAir — pre-booking meals from website/through customer care | |||||
I wanted to pre-book meal on my flight on 11th august at 16.40. Since i wanted a jain meal which is a special request so i thought of pre-booking it. I tried booking meal on the website but everytime the page opens it asks to book a flight and not a meal. It is strange and saddening that their site is not even interactive enough to allow booking of meals. So i called up at the customer care numbers (Both mentioned on the site) since they are (Apparently) 24*7 lines. I called them up around 10 pm the previous night. Tried calling them and held the call for around 10 minutes but there was no answer from the "customer care" side. It is indeed quite ironical that they call them selves a care representative! So i thought it i'll call them tomorrow and get it booked (Since it was night and no customer care should be provided at night)! On receiving my request, the lady (Not helpful or caring) informed hat i could only book a meal 10 hours prior to the flight departure!! Since there was only 5 hours left of my flying i couldn't book it!! Dear go air services, 1. Your site doesn't allow customer to book a meal who is 10 hours and more in advance while trying to do so 2. Your site doesn't mention anywhere that meals need to be booked 10 hours prior 3. Your customer care representatives do not bother picking up my call at night (Both the numbers) 4. Your customer care representative (A fine lady) informs me she consulted her senior and said nothing could be done. On requesting to speak to the senior, she informs me the "senior" is the person sitting next to her and not a "senior" per say :) With an assurance that i'll get a call back from "senior" within 24 hours (And definitely after my flight has taken off and landed and all deal done) to look into my matter!!
