I spoke with Mahendra today. I asked him if I could change the primary account in my cPanel to one of my websites without losing any information. He said YES. I also wanted to change some information on another website owned by me. Mahendra said that he would help me. After spending 1 hour on the phone, Mahendra guided me through step by step processes. At the end, he said that my food blog (which was earlier my primary account) would be down for 24-48 hours. AFter I took about 1.5 hours break for meetings and lunch, I was shocked to check that my cPanel showed misinformation on my blog and one of my domains. I had lost 1.5 years of information on my food blog.I called customer care and Varun said that I just needed to rstore my files. WHen he couldn't give me a resolution after 1 hour, I was passed on to his supervisor (Chauhan) who was by far one of the most rude people that I had spoken to on any customer service line. It SEEMED LIKE A BLACKMAIL, when he said that he could restore my website if I paid $50. Is this how you treat your customers You blackmail them? Was this information helpful? |
