[Resolved] Godrej Appliances — faulty ac | |||
I had purchased godrej 1.5ton ac from amazon last december... Since it was cold during december we didn't used much later in march we started using the out door unit was making huge noise... For which we complained to service centre... Technician from ept service centre visited and said there is a installation fault and need to re install which chargeable... For which i denied again the complained was raised and same technician visited and kept a piece of paper near the mesh covering which reduced the 30-40% with in few days again the noise got increased... This time same ept service centre technician denied to come unless i pay him the service charge... Later in i complained twice again... Were the technician used to close the complaint.. Me with out sharing the 3digit code which has to shared once the is done.. Few months later water strated sprinkling from the indoor unit... This time i raised complained and tweeted on twitter abouth the pathetic service from the godrej team.. And now the same old technician from ept visited... And said it is chargeable 2800/- and refilling the gas is free... Which irritated me and called the service centre in front of him.. The smart technician started explaining the ac had to fitted in bit slide manner.. But it's not a installation fault it's a common human error for which you can't claim warranty... Later came the sery manager venkatesh... And told he will be sending the guys who have installed so that they will only provide the service... Next comes the service centre guys from sri ramanauja ac services... Who's service men were quit humble and were able to slove the outdoor unit noise... But water sprinkle didn't stop... Again i raised the complaint thrice... First the they refilled refrigerant and did some welding... Second time they said some coolant was leaking and heat condenser was not working properly... Third time they changed the pcb as it was faulty... Now i have raise dthe complaint for the fourth time... Yet to see the result... Now the warranty is about end with in month.. And sad part could not use the ac from past 11 months... I think godrej has to replace the full faulty ac...
