[Resolved]  Godrej Interio — substandard quality alexandrio sofa sold at premium price and cheated for rs. 31387.50 by godrej interio

Alexandrio sofa purchased for rs. 31, 387.50 started developing cracks within a year of purchase. Initially i was of the impression that the cracks were minor scratches. The cracks started increasing day by day and now the sofa is not usable. My hard earned money is looted by godrej interio by selling a sub-standard quality product for premium price. I have not listened to these warnings and now i am repenting for the same. It is understood that alexandrio sofa is discontinued by godrej due to quality issues and customers who had purchased this product lost their money.

In view of the above, you are requested to refund my money or replace my product with a new one since i was cheated by godrej by selling sub-standard quality product.

I have sent my contact details, bill and photographs in your mail ID- [protected]@godrej.com and [protected]@godrej.com (Sevrice head and VP) atleast 25 times. But no actions were taken to resolve my complaint. Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Co. Ltd. is a company which has no business ethics. You have written "Customer service at Godrej Interio is recognized as the Key building block in building the brand and bonding with our consumers. We at Godrej Interio believe that Customer Satisfaction & Delight are part of our brand DNA & hence have nurtured, invested & are constantly improving processes to achieve higher levels of satisfaction.While consumer service has provided us with leading edge competitive advantage vis-à-vis competition, we encourage and respect escalations from customers" in your website to make fun of customers.

I have purchased Alexandria Sofa on the belief that Godrej products are reliable and the company follows good business ethics. But I was wrong and your company has sold me a sub-standard, unreliable product for Rs. 32, 000/- which has not lasted for even an year. It is my hard earned money which was looted by godrej which I will not forget for my life. Further Mr. Narendra Singh, Service Manager at Indore again humiliated me by demanding more than Rs. 20, 000/- for repairing this sofa brought for Rs. 32000/-. The response given by your Service manager, Mr. Narendra Singh at Indore is arrogant, unprofessional and has changed my outlook towards Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Co. Ltd.
