[Resolved]  Godrej Properties — refund of token money taken prior to an agreement

Refund of advance booking amount taken before launch and before providing agreement copy as a token through wire transfet

The agent got in touch on call and provided all details by mail and after convincing on location in gurgaon insisted on token amount to hold on to an prlaunch and uncontructed apartment, saying people are waiting in get hold of it, and we need to immediately pay for that last one to avoide from being taken away, no agreementcopywas provided to us at that time, we made the eire transfer of 5 lakh

Later we found that the location distance from main city to be way more than i formed to us and in the outskirts where infrastructure growth is very poor and slow

We requested for refund, but we were then quoted text from agreement copy which was not shown to us at time of taking tbe amount leave alone any mention of it, stating no amount will be refunded, we are struggling to get the refund, please help

Please note this is regard to Godrej ICON in sector 88A, booking amount was given for flat on 23rd floor as apartment no.1, in the year 2015

Booking amount was received online through bank transaction by Godrej in April 2015

Hi please note, the company has received token amount after receiving the token money through bank transaction, informed us of an application form which need to be signed and sent back and send that to us one and half month later,
Please check again the application was not given to us before asking for token amount, we could not go through it or read it and were not given an opportunity to read the form before giving the money, we were denied this opportunity to go through the form .before departing of money from our account
As such request you to take this important point in consideration to understand the perplexed situation we were into

Request your company to refund the amount at the earliest and intimate us on the same, awaiting your kind response

To add to the above please note the form clearly mentioned that token amount to be taken along with the form, but form was not given to us at time of taking token money, so we don't know what was written in form when we gave the token amount, we were deprived of this opportunity of going through the application form .

I REQUEST the company to check the details again if required and Refund our amount

Please also note as company on call informed me that the person interacting with us for the apartment is now blacklisted as they received many complaints against him, so I would like to bring this to the notice of the company that we have suffered due to this and our token amount is with Godrej,
We had also received acknowledgement from Godrej for receiving our amount by bank transaction. As company has also acknowledged on call on this I therefore request Godrej to refund our amount which is with the company since year 2015

Company Godrej was interacting directly with my mother who is 65 years old, 62 years old then, and is retired, I will say my mother is the bread winner . this person who is now blacklisted interacted with her for Godrej and kept insisting her to pay this token money urgently, she paid through her pension savings trusting the name of Godrej and knowing she was paying into Godrej account, not realizing that an important information was being hid from her, she kept asking for all information, but this particular information was kept hidden and made no mention of .
The date of reciving the amount has been written wrongly in company record, though there is proof of the bank transaction date, now that company has blacklisted this person and knows that my mother has been wronged and suffered due to this, I request them to refund and compensate her for her suffering and return back her amount to her
