Google Pixel — charging for repairing device in warranty

Google Pixel XL 2 phone had been bought from a retail store after reading all the features of your phone. I had discovered that the phone was unable to boot up after using it to take few snapshots in swimming pool for 10-15 minutes. There was no physical damage and this phone was used adhering the limits and standards of IP67 rating. It seems this phone was not tested properly as per IP67 protocol. Apple iPhone 8 and Samsung Galaxy S9 plus were used in similar situation and they worked like a charm. That Google phone was under warranty and Google support team had charged me the huge amount of 21000 INR approx. That was big loss for me. I am totally dissatisfied with their repairing demand, cost and process, and this is not acceptable at all.
The Consumer Protection Act 1986 makes it an implied term of the contract that goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose and use. As Google are in breach of contract I am entitled to claim refund.
This Google & its support team really sucks. After getting it repaired by paying the huge amount, I didn't feel like using it. I sold the phone which was just 4-5 months old and I got the just 20k (pretty low resell value when compared to Apple and Samsung). New phone value: 60K, old phone value of just 4-5 months used: 20k and I paid 21k for the repair. My total loss was around 61k which was my hard-earned money. HUMONGOUS LOSS FOR ME.
That was my first and last Google phone. I would never recommend this phone to anyone in my life.
