Govt. Of Assam — poor condition of the hospital in hailakandi district.

Respected and honourable prime minister sir, i am a student and i am from the hailakandi district.
Sir, first of all sorry to have intruded to your much valueable time.
But trust me i had no other option rather than complaining regarding the pathetic condition of the hospital in our town.

Sir, last weak me and two of my friends went to the hospital in order to have our medical certificate signed which was essential for our admission purposes.
When we went to the counter and asked about the doctors, we were told that there was no any doctor who could sign the certificates.
Instead, they asked us to go to the quarters of the doctors and get our things signed.
When we finally found a doctor, he asked us to have some tests and measurements done before filling in the form (Weight, blood group test, height, chest size etc.)

We went back to the counter again and asked where to do all these tests.
The person very lightly told us that there was no facility inside the hospital.
We were asked to go the nearby private clicnic and have out tests done.
So we had to pay almost 300 rupees for the tests in the private clinic.

When we went to the doctor he signed our forms.
But much to our surprise, he asked us to pay his fees and that too with no consideration.
We three had to pay a total of rs. 900.
This is how it is going on sir.

But on the other hand, my friends who were from silchar had all their tests and work done for free in the silchar hospital.
Things changed in silchar after the visit of himanta biswa sir.

Sir, we also want any of you to visit the hailakandi hospital and witness how pathetically things are going.
Even in the working hours, the doctors charge fee.
Moreover, the infrastructure of the campus is more than poor.
Cleanliness is no word in the compound.
I have taken some photos and i am sharing it.

Sir, kindly take some steps for these poor people who cannot afford to pay fee.
