[Resolved] Grabonrent — Grabonrent - Security Deposit not being refunded | |||||
I had rented a fridge from Grabonrent for a 2 month period. It has been 1 month since I have returned the fridge and my security deposit has not been refunded yet in spite of their policy of returning deposit amount in 2-3 working days (as mentioned on their FAQ page). I had contacted customer support many times and got a call couple of days back saying that the deposit refund process has been initiated and I would get my deposit back the same day. Furthermore, they said they have deducted Rs 500 from the amount of Rs 1750 for "desanitization" purposes. Sadly, I still have not got my deposit amount back. They had not sent a single email informing me about the delay. And they have no right to deduct Rs 500 as I had clearly asked the pickup person whether I would need to clean the fridge before returning and he had clearly told me not to worry about it. Apart from that, the fridge was in perfect working condition. So these people withhold my deposit for a month and are now deducting Rs 500 unnecessarily. I ordered a product from the website and after completing the term, I got an email for the security refund and asking for my bank details. I provided the details but now it has been almost a month now and I haven't got my refund back.
May I know the reason of such a bad service?
