I had purchased a holiday membership from grand tourio, andheri branch on 18th nov 2017. I was promised by the company sales executive mr. Vivek and ms shahin that to pay 150000/- for an emi of 36 months through credit card with no extra processing fee and interest. A flat 150000/- would be converted on emi for 36 months. Agreeing to this, we purchased the membership and swipe my credit card. Mr. Vivek swiped my card for amount rs. 135000/- and told us that rs. 15000/- is 10% cashback. Now the issues here are 1. They didnt converted the amount on emi. 2. Asked me to do so by calling hdfc credit card department. 3. When i spoke with hdfc credit card person, he told me that you would be charged processing fee rs. 1593/- and interest rs. 39, 499/- 4. When the above point 3. Clarified with mr. Vivek, he asked me to convert the amount and send the details of extra interest to company on [protected]@grandtourio.com for refund. 5. Agreeing to him and the photo send by him from ms shahin mobile no., i converted the amount on emi for 36 months and when the details of interest alongwith processing fee received from hdfc bank, i have forwarded the same to [protected]@grandtourio.com email id. 6. I received a reply from mr. Sanjay to your query has been forwarded to mr. Vivek. I asked mr. Sanjay that mr. Vivek only told me to do so and hence requested a refund. 7. After few days, mr. Sanjay called me and told mr. Vivek is in village and your query has been forwarded to ms shahin. I told him that i have already spoken with mr. Vivek and he asked me to send the details of interest to [protected]@grandtourio.com. 8. Now, after a week mr. Sanjay is replying on email saying that 10% refund was provided in the form of cashback when you swiped for membership and we will not provide full amount of interest charged to you. I asked them to cancel my membership for which they are saying it is not possible and the amount is non-refundable. Further, they cancelled my membership and refunded only the amount rs. 135000/- and all other charges such as processing fee, interest and preclosure amount passed on to me. While giving me the cheque the sales executive mr. Vivek agreed to pay the extra amount and said company will deduct the same from our salary and pay it to you. Now after 2 weeks, mr. Vivek is not responding and giving the amount rs. 10, 140/- which i had already paid to hdfc bank for the closure. The company vertical head mr. Rajan is saying that the company is not liable and you can do whatever you want against mr. Vivek. I have always filed a fir against mr. Vivek. Please be careful and don't ever go to this company.
