[Resolved] Great Eastern Appliances — AC Installation | |||
I purchased an AC SAMSUNG from Great Eastern appliances Branch AB -17, Sector 1, Salt Lake City, Kolkata-700064. Before I made a decision on purchasing the sales person did not inform me that the installation of the AC will take more than seven days from the date of purchased. After I completed the purchasing formalities and payment I was told that the there will be delay in installation. The purchasing was done on 16th April its already 23rd the installation has not be done.I request your company to help me assist the installation of the AC. The invoice number is SL/SA/1617/00677. My major problem is that I am not able to go to the store all the time since I have injury on my left leg, otherwise I would have gone to the store and requested them everyday, since I am kind of confined I feel very helpless. I live by myself and I do not have anybody to go to the store and ask for the help. The sales person keeps his cell phone turned off, so I am not in a position to communicate with the individual. If Samsung customer service does not get cooperate with Great Eastern Appliances then it is ideal to discontinue the sale of their product. I am in huge pain because of the heat, I also want to know whether is it possible to return back the appliance and get a refund. An appliance without installation is of no use to me. Apr 24, 2016 Complaint marked as Resolved Actually the AC installation got done within 24 hours before the company could respond to my complain. I thank Great Eastern Appliances, Salt Lake branch and Samsung customer service for taking the effort of installing the appliance. I would like to withdraw the complaint since my work is done and I have no issues to fight for.
Thanks for the action by both the parties. But I have one suggestion for future customer. The sales person has to make the customer aware about the number of days the installation process would take before the customers makes decision for purchasing and making the payment.This will be a fair practice so that both the sides would not have problems in future dealings.
