Great Eastern Appliances — Faulty product delivered and unprofessional behaviour | |||
My uncle basudev mondal purchased a 1.5 ton hitachi split ac from great eastern showroom, dhakuria on the 10th of april, 2017. While installing on 13th of april, the product was found faulty and crooked. The engineer was called for proper assessment and he admitted to the fact that the ac had a manufacturing defect. On informing this to the manager, he took 7 days time to replace it. My uncle received no call from the showroom within 7 days and he himself made an initiative to visit them again. After all the harrassment and tantrums, he was replaced with a new ac on 23rd. But no installation was done. After all sorts of nagging and pleading the people for installment was sent today, (26th of april). On opening the package the ac turned out to faulty again. On complaining to the manager sabyasachi chatterjee, he responded uncooperatively and was quite rude with his tone. When my uncle asked as how can he cancel the deal, he reciprocated with intense disgrace and replied that he's not liable for any of the inconvenience caused and challenged us to take any step necessary. The entire amount of the product has been paid in cash (Worth of ₹44000). Such disgraceful behaviour after all such harrassment is definitely not acceptable. We want the product we paid for without any further harrassment. This entire scenerio is going beyond the customer rules and regulations It'll be grateful if you pay heed to the mail and kindly look into the matter with serious concern and gravity.
