Great Eastern Appliances — Faulty refrigerator delivered and partially damaged after servicing | |||
I bought a "Electrolux EN205 LTMD 190 LTR" refrigerator on March 17th, 2017 from Great Eastern Appliances Howrah Shibpur Kajipara branch and It delivered on March 20th, 2017.When I plugged in It didn't respond.So I called the showroom of great eastern for replacement, they told me that they replacement couldn't be possible and made an appointment for servicing. Service agent came and open the circuit and told me two of jack was opened. During servicing the refrigerator was partially damaged so again I called them for replacement and again they refused and told me with a pick voice that "It can be obvious that during transportation some screw or some jack may have been open". My point is that I chose them and trusted for their brand name and made full payment for new refrigerator but they gave me a faulty one. Their brand name disappointed me. Not only that but also they appointed a kind of service for which my new one is partially damaged and makes an annoying sound. So who is responsible for it? Did I made a payment for repaired or damaged one? If so then it was very easy for me to repair my old one and save some decent amount of money.
