I wish I had read the reviews before. These guys cheated me as well. To start with, they gave a quotation of 12, 000/-which included packing, unpacking, loading, unloading and transportation. All my stuffs were packed beforehand by some other mover &packers and due to some issue had to cancel them and finally contact Great Lohiya Movers &Packers at the last moment, so ideally they shouldn’t have charged for the packing but they did. And as soon as my luggage reached their warehouse, they sent me a receipt of 30, 000/- and threatened me that if I don’t pay the entire amount upfront they would not load my stuffs in the truck. Also they mentioned since my number of boxes were more, my things would come in a separate truck which definitely wasn’t the case as there was two other consignment in the same truck. After 10 days when I received my stuffs, the boxes were all soaked and torn also my cylinder is missing and furniture has been damaged and ofcourse they did not provide any insurance paper as mentioned earlier by others as well and also they did not have their own transport, so even when my stuffs reached my city outskirts, the driver asked me to come and collect my things from the warehouse at 10 pm at night and also mentioned to get help to unload my things from the truck, which by the way was paid for. It was definitely not possible for me to go at night and collect the things as I stay alone with my mom. And during all this chaos Sunil Lohiya stopped taking my calls, so finally I had to connect with the transport manager in delhi and then they agreed to come and drop my things home when I requested and stated my problem. The driver kept telling me that he would come within an hour or so..and finally came at 4:30 in the morning. All in all it was a pathetic experience that I had to go through.
