Haier India Deep Freezer — warranty not given

I purchased a haier refrigerator on 3 oct 2013 and its compressor is not working. The compressor is under warranty for 10 years and still the company is not repairing under warranty.
Their customer service people have the details of

Date of purchase and previous services

Their service center have details of:
Previous services
Date of purchase
Serial number of bill

But they are expecting customers to maintain a piece of paper for 10 years which is quite impractical.
