I visited hhy outlet in bhubaneswar today with my husband for a consultation. Here is how the initial conversation at the lobby goes-
Me-is dr. Shakti there?
Receptionist-yes. Consultation fee - rs.300.
My husband - can i get a receipt?
Receptionist-receipt is only given if you pay 18% extra gst.
Husband - that’s cool. I can pay. Though i am not happy with this way of not providing receipt
Receptionist-please don’t teach me how to do business
Me-this is very rude
Receptionist goes inside.
Some dr. Amit suddenly comes
Dr. Amit to us-please behave decently. There is a kid sitting here
Me and husband-decently?
Me-we are husband and wife and we are decent
Dr. Amit-this is not a playground
Me-we are not playing
Dr. Amit-this is my premise. Dont behave like that
Me-but we have not done anything wrong. We were just talking to a fellow patient.
Dr amit-behave properly
Me-i want to meet dr. Shakti myself
Dr. Amit-he is not there
Me-receptionist just said two minutes back that he is there
Dr. Amit-yes, but he won’t meet. This is my premise
Me-how is that fair? No doctor talks to a patient like that.
Receptionist to me-this is not the way to talk to someone
Husband-let’s leave.
Husband to doctor-thank you very much (Sarcastically)
We have never been met with such a bad treatment in our life. We were almost forced out just because we asked for the receipt. People get fooled like this because they are not well aware. This review is so that other people do not suffer like us. On the pretext of indecency (We were not even sitting close!), they try to cover up their commercialisation. On every single aspect, we were ill treated. Very disappointed and insulted. We could not shake off this incident off our head. We being educated were ill treated. Imagine people who do not know what these things are getting fooled everyday
