HappyEasyGo — no response on refund for flight cancellation | |||||
I would like to register a complaint with you regarding my flight cancelled due to lockdown declared by govt. I had booked to and fro tickets on happy easy go website from pune to bangalore (19-april-2020) and banglore to pune (26 - april-2020) which has been cancelled by the airline company (Airasia) mentioning in their website that there are two options either reschedule or can have the refund as credit shell. When i tried requesting the heg to refund the amount as credit shell as per the airline's decision. I haven't received any response from the authorities of the heg website it's like neither the customer care was available on call nor i was getting any response over mail. As no response was received i thought of rescheduling the flight to june and the flight cost is lesser than i paid before, i rechecked the price with air asia website, but while rescheduling the flight i am asked for extra rs.4082 that even for one flight and the return flight was not available on the reschedule date i requested for, which to be frank is just a ridiculous way of ripping us of. I don't understand if the air asia had given the provision of getting the money in credit shell why is heg not giving us that provision. I tried to visit air asia website and tried for the refund as credit shell but they say as the ticket was booked by agent (Heg) we need to check this with heg, air asia cannot help on this. Here the problem is heg is also not trying to help, not even trying to respond on my mails. Was this information helpful? | |||||
