[Resolved] Hathway Cable & Datacom — subscription activation without consent | |||||
Hi This is shankar, account no. [protected] I was a happy customer of hathway for 7-8years till I started leaving the house for onsite projects for months Though the house was vacate and requesting hathway to keep the accnt dormant till I return, hathway agreed to it but created a monthly subscription without consent On return I had to pay the amount and as I had to do office work I had no time to argue, I just paid!! This happened in 2015 In 2016 again I went onsite for 9months and asked them to deactivate the account as I would justshift the house on return which I did in 2017 october . Thinking the accou t is closed I moved on with life Hathway called me last month and blackmailed me that 1258rs is pending and if I don't pay they would blah blah I ended up paying requesting them to close the account. I don't stay there. I hav a new airwire connection in new residence for past 9months Now again I received a mail saying new subscription is activated.. Dueamount 1276rs Now I would not pay this amount and would like the consumer court to accept my case and give me justice Was this information helpful? | |||||
