Hathway / Gujarat Telelink [GTPL] — GTPL Hyd failed to provide new connection and not initiating refund | |||
I'm a resident of Hyderabad, Telangana. I have applied for a new connection with GTPL Hyderabad, I paid 3200/- for a 50Mbps plan for 6 months. The GTPL sales person Naresh Nemali (+91-[protected]) approached me personally at my residence saying they are launching broadband service which is more advanced than the competitor and they would complete installation with activation within 48 hours from payment. Upon their assurance of 48 hours setup process I have paid them 3200 through Google Pay (Payment attached) on 8th Oct 2020 to Venkat Yadav (+91-[protected] - who interacted with me on Naresh's behalf as he is on personal emergency) a colleague of Naresh Nemali who are sales guys for GTPL Hyderabad. Since then it has been 10 days and neither the company executives nor its customer care are giving relevant answers, the sales guy Naresh Nemali is not answering my calls or messages and blocked my phone number. Venkat Yadav earlier gave me his manager's phone number to express my grievance. I called Devender Reddy (+91-[protected]), the Manager for the above 2 sales guys and explained him it has been almost 1 week and nobody is responding nor providing connection. Manager used to he is personally looking at the issue and will be done in couple of hours. From then I had to call him again and again as he didn't give any specific answer. He was fooling me around for 3 days and making me call every 2-3 hours saying I will get it done you call me after 2 hours. He repeated the same thing for 3 days taking advantage of my need for internet and that I've already made full payment. As nothing is working out, I have asked them to refund my amount so that I can take other provider's connection. Naresh was reluctant to refund as it he would lose his sales incentive if I get refund, to avoid that conversation he blocked my phone number. I somehow, convinced manager Devender for refund and he took my cancelled cheque saying he will initiate refund process immediately. He sent him the cheque through whastapp and since then he stopped responding. He didn't give me an acknowledgement that refund is initiated, but asked to call him back in 2 hours again to confirm if they started refund process. I have asked sales guy for payment receipt, they used to say they will send in 2 mins over whatsapp but never sent me one. I'm IT Professional working from home and they lack of providing network on time escalated my absence at work. I'm facing problems at my work place. I would like to report this careless and fraud nature of GTPL technicians, manager and sales executives and demand an immediate full refund.
