[Resolved] Havells — Product not as per specification | |||||
Company: havells Item : ceiling fans Quantity : 7 Purchase price : rs. 3500/- per item. Model : orion Date of purchase : june 2015 Guarantee by company : 2 years Status : product under guarantee Product link: http://www.havells.com/content/havells/en/consumer/fans/ceiling-fans/special-finish-fans/special-finish/orion.html# Case: The mentioned product is specified by the company as "electro-phoretic lacquered surface for anti-rusting". You may please check the link of the product mentioned above. This being anti-rusting product, we bought it for our new house in ankleshwar (District-bharuch). Just after 6 months of installation, there was seen some beginning of rust on the fan blades. After we made a complain to the dealer of bharuch area, the fan blades were replaced with new ones satisfactorily. Now, again after 6 months of the new blades installation, there is beginning of rust on the fan blades. On complaining to the dealer again, they say that its not the fault of the product and are denying for any further action. My complain is that the cost of these fans are very premium and looking at the specification of anti-rust type, i had purchased the products (7 quantity). I am not at all satisfied with the quality of this product and i cannot keep on changing the fan blades every 6 months. I need my total refund of the amount paid. Approx. Rs. 24, 500. Sep 26, 2016 Complaint marked as Resolved I will be getting the refund of 21, 000 INR against 24, 500 INR (balance not getting for some VAT issue). I will get this refund once I return the Fans to the local dealer from where I had bought the fans. I will be returning the fans in 1st week of October, 2016. The overall experience with Havells has been really good in resolving my issue. I would express my thanks to Mr. Umesh Thakkar, Havells Gujarat Head. He had understood my issue very well and has helped me in solving my issue.
Finally, I will be getting back Rs. 21, 000 (approx.) against Rs. 24, 500 paid for 7 nos. of Fan. The balance amount I will not be getting due to some VAT issue.
@Havells: I would request your technical team to discontinue with ORION and YORKER if it is constantly giving problem to customers. There is no point in selling such premium fans which starts problem within few months of operation.
Overall team was very helpful.
