[Resolved] HDFC Bank — Amount held in savings account for cc payment without payment reminders or revert on my email request | |||||
I have been writing to hdfc since 15th may and issue is still not resolved, i'm holding a cc since 4.5 yrs and have never defaulted in making payments, but couldn't pay for the past 2 months and they have permanently blocked after taking all the amount i had in my account (Which i deposited for my emi's and cc payment). I did not receive any payment reminders post 20th marc, my first payment was skipped in march and infact i had written email to them for the reason of non-payment and requested to convert everything on emi but there was no single revert on my emails. They held all the amount in my account from 4th may and all my emi's got bounced and on top of it i have been levied for the bounce charges though the mistake is from their end. And now to activate my card i have been writing so many emails and making so many calls but issue still remains unresolved. They are just cheating calling on my old number and stating they have called though my number has been updated in their records. They are aware of my new residential address but not my number??? April payment was also skipped but there was no single call for reminder on payments nor anyone called me. And now they say they will not calling anyone for reminding about payments and directly hold the amount in savings account (Their terms and conditions is entirely different from what their executive told me this morning). When i have tried my best to keep them informed and requested for balance transfer on emi and there was no single revert on it and is it fair to hold my amount in account without any intimation? Also all the amount plus additional amount has been taken from my account for the cc payment, now they inform me to pay the amount generated last month when my card is permanently blocked last month itself. I have taken a personal loan of 500000 in 2015, i wanted to know my outstanding balance, i have only LOS No.3374911, i have not received any loan account details...but in net banking it is asking for loan account...can you please send the outstanding balance to my registered number or to ravi.[protected]@gmail.com

The representative who called me was yelling at me to pay the amount for credit card and was completely unprofessional
