[Resolved] HDFC Bank — cashier job role recruitment fraud

I had applied for banking jobs through quikr jobs. I got a telephonic interview call from a person called mahesh pathak (Contact no:- [protected]) and later he said i got selected for the post and i need to transfer inr4500 to his account for the document verification process. If my documents are correct i’ll get that money back with my first month’s salary. I just wanted to know if hdfc bank really charges for the document verification process so that i can think to pay or not. Please let me know as soon as possible. Was this information helpful? Verified Support Jan 23, 2019 HDFC Bank Customer Care's response Dear Customer, HDFC Bank doesn't charge applicants any recruitment fee for gaining employment / ask you to deposit any money for giving you job offers; authorize any third party (such as vendors, placement services, recruitment agencies, etc.) to make any employment offers to applicants/candidates and does not collect any fee/registration/ recruitment charges etc for referring and placing applicants/candidates with them.
