[Resolved] HDFC Bank — email address in my huf saving account added/amended by someone other than me

I have my huf bank saving account no. [protected] at hdfc bank rajkot. Today when i logged in i was surprised to see email address given as '[protected]@gmail.com' which was not updated by me. This is serious security breach. I have changed now that email address as '[protected]@gmail.com'. Kindly provide me details about how this thing may happen or else i have to close all my family accounts (Seven accounts altogether). Yatin gandhi (Mobile [protected]).

HDFC Bank Customer Care's response Dear Customer,

Kindly note that your email ID was updated basis your account opening document. The copy of the same has been shared with your account branch. You can visit your account branch and view the same by meeting the Branch Manager. We regret our inability to share the AOD copy on email or social media.
