HDFC Bank — harassment by hdfc collection agents

I was using HDFC Credit Card with a limit of Rs. 15, 000 and after using the credit limit, I wanted to make the payment and called customer care several times but they told that only net banking is the source for the payment. I asked several times to send a executive to collect the payment or tell any other, edium for the payment but no information was provide. Eventually, after months because of non-payment HDFC charged a heavy penalty per month and it turned out to heavy amount. In the meanwhile, HDFC collection department called several times and asked to pay small amount via Paytm. I paid the same and it was told to me that the penalty amount will be waived off soon and we have raised the request. But after that no one informed about the status and also the amount exceeded just double the credit limit. In between many different people from HDFC called with fake assurances like you pay the credit amount plus penalty amount and it will be credited to your credit limit in 24 hours but eventually on enquiring it turned out to be fake. For the same, I didn't completed any payment because I was receiving fake calls. One day I received a call from Mr. Amit with phone no. [protected] and he told that a settlement letter will be provided if I make payment of Rs 20, 000. For the same I Requested him to make the amount in emi and provide the letter. But eventually he and his colleague started calling me with different phone no. [protected], [protected], [protected] and started forcefully extorting the money. For the last 2-3 months from the same number, few goons from HDFC bank started abusing me in my personal number and threatened me to make the payment. Eventually, they followed in my social network account and abused my colleagues and family members. Few of them abused my family member and threatened that they will come home and recover the money by beating the members. Finally, it continued for 15-20 days until I paid Rs, 10000. HDFC is harassing me and my family continuously for the payment without providing logical resolution and also apologizing the mistake of customer care. I am fed up with the bank and now I think have to lodge a police complaints against the threat given by the bank goons.
