[Resolved] HDFC Bank — minimum balance issue | |||||
Dear team I have apply salary account with your bank from last 5-6 year old. But now my company change my salary to other bank. So that's the reason i was came branch asked to bank employee to help me for reducing my minimum balance. I tell you reply of your bank employee is "closed account sir take it form from there side" very shameful word he say Was this information helpful? | |||||

Verified Support Dec 17, 2018 HDFC Bank Customer Care's response Dear Customer, We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused to you. We have checked and confirm that your account status is updated as resigned in our system and you no longer hold a zero balance salary account. Thus the balance required to be maintained is Rs. 10000/-. The special facilities offered on the Salary Account is pursuant to the arrangement between the employer / company and the Bank. These benefits are extended by virtue of your employment in the organization, on whose request the account is opened with the bank. In the event of no salary credits in the Salary Account for any continuous three months, the Bank reserves the right to change the status of Salary Account to Savings Regular Account and the Terms & Conditions as applicable to the HDFC Bank Savings Regular Account shall apply to this account from the date of change of status. The Terms & Conditions and features applicable to Savings Regular Account are published on the web site of the Bank.
