[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — policy termination/settlement new business fraud

Dear sir,

I wish to complain about the fake call received by me from the so called termination department of hdfc life insurance.
The person (Radhika sharma [protected] told me that i had taken a policy in the year 2010 and paid a premium of rs.50000/- towards the same, i was also
Given the policy number[1140394] policy name hdfc classic assure plus issued on 23/03/2010) and told that since the policy has a lock in period of
3 years and i have paid the premium for only 1 year, my policy had gone to their department for termination. If i pay the
Premium for 2 more years that is rs. 100000/- my policy would be regularized and i will be getting an amount of rs. 208000/- within 90 days.
Then i was given rajiv saxena hdfc life relation manager mob no[[protected]] hdfc mumbai (Proces dept.)
He once again explained the procedure to me and also said same thing. When i told i forget about this policy send me details through mail, we canot send details to you through mail because
Your mail is not registered.
The process as explained was that a new policy need to be purchased superincome policy with 1lac annula prmium. When this policy is made
The bonus from previous policy 1 lac 8 thousand will be added to this one. After 90 days option to withdraw or continue will be given,
Then you can withdarw 2lac 8 thousad.
I was directed that process dept will call and give an approval code that needs to be shared with rajeev saxena to intate the process.
Got a call from manish chauhan[protected] who explained the same process and gave me approval code hdfc014927ia.
That was shared with rajeev saxena who arranged for documet pickup through a third party along with che for 1 lac and a canceled cheque.
Also told there wiil be 2 verification calls and was directed not to tell them it is for settlement but show them as if it is a new policy
For investment and tax saving purpose.
I fell into the trap and gave the documents and the cheques. Later i sensed some thing fishy about the settlement process and
Contacted the customer services dep on the policy number given. It turned out to be a valid number but for soemone else. When i googled
For the name rajeev saxena and hdfclife the fraud unfolded.

This looks to be a fraud to get new business through fraudulent means.

Please look into the matter & investigated at your end. This is very serious matter. Some body will loose huge amount
