[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — rude behaviour of customer care representative

Hi,

My brother has taken a loan from hdfc couple of yesrs back.in the interim he had moved to us for a short term work and during the last 2mnths his emi dint get deduction from his savings account due to some issue. He had realised just recently and hence had decidednto close the loan account while he came for 15dsys to india. He had been to the hdfc branches for the loan closure process but since the process was a little lengthy and he had to leave he left tge details with me to help close. While i have been working on it i get a call from one of the collection executives about the non payment. I had told her that we are in the process of closing it hence should be able to do it soon. But she dint seem to be ready to listen to me and started a very harsh rude tone cornering me and pointing me as i was a fraud and beyond. While i told her we had already been to hdfc branch spoke to the officials and are on the verge of closing. But no. But she was justadamant to even hear me out. Behaved as id she was being paid to bully corner and insult us. One cant treat every one like this. Not all non-payments are fraud. There has to be some sense o[censored]nderstanding. What rudeness was that? Unable to digest it till now. Are they paid for bullying and cornering ppl. I would agree of i disagreed to her words. But she had all mouth and no ears. I would seriously need an apology coming from her. Am sure the bank would have records of all their calls. Pls pull this call and you may want to listen. She was so on n on in rude manner with absent ears that i had no option but to disconnect the call. I would need an apologyfor such unacceptable behaviour. No one has such right.

And while i entered this site i saw sooo many complaints on simjlar behaviour of hdfc professionals. Am not sure of it is being taken seriously or not? Hoe can this keep repeating with people? Pls hire the right ppl or they need to be trained.
